Nonsense. She has every reason to hate Tripp for washing her dirty linen (no pun intended!) on national TV for a year so far. Left to herself, she would have probably got it into her brain eventually, that the President is not in love with her and cannot possibly abandon his wife in order to get married to her and the rest of the silly stuff.
