Talked to my local checkout guy and asked him about what's going on with the online stuff. (Note: one thing I love about this company is that all the employees know what's going on with the company as a whole and care, or at least it seems so)

According to him, it's the vitamins/essential oils/other non-perishable stuff that they'll be selling online. No groceries or produce. If GNC is giving up, more of a chance for WFMI.

In terms of the delay, he said the employees have known about this plan for a few months. I guess working out the details on a national level takes a little while. I'll trust that they must be close to having a workable plan in place in order to make a public announcement.

BTW, I own no WFMI. I just follow it out of interest in a company that seems to be the kind of company I'd like to work for. People who work there seem happy working there. The products are good (though pricier than other sources but the experience makes up for it). Between WFMI and Trader Joe's, I now shop at Ralph's/Von's (SoCal) once every couple of months. I'm no longer stuck with the crap that is the General Supermarket shopping experience.

Wish I'd gotten in at 30 when I first thought about it after shopping there.

Dirk

I agree with what you state. My post was specific to selling supplements over the internet.

This sector is hot! All but UNFI that is :-?
