Is there any way to know, say, with Level II access, when Creative is buying shares on the open market. I would guess they would need to go through a broker, does anyone know who that broker is?

I received an email that also indicates buybacks are approved.

Mike-

Thank you for your response. The info was posted by someone the day
after I sent it to you. I do however have some more information that I
uncovered a few days ago. Apparently, similar to US legislation, the
process required publication in the Singapore government's official
gazette. This is accessable on line. I believe that there are three
documents relating to the Companies Act (Amendment) Act Commencement
Notification 1998 on the below URL. See S560, S561, and S562. You'll
need Adobe Acrobat reader to view these but the bottom line is that S560
was signed by the Secretary of the Ministry of Finance on the 13th of
Nov with an effective date of the 18th. That's today. Pretty quiet day
considering, don't you think? Maybe CREAF's counsel is still reviewing
it to assure compliance. Who knows.

Thanks John! The gazette was a great find!
