Mike,

I tend to agree on the positive outlook of the Euro. Europe as a whole will down the line benefit from foreign capital flows. Economies of scale exist on the continent the likes of which we could never encounter. Beyond that, when the EU takes under its wing countries like Poland and more powerful Easter block countries, they will be opening up a whole new can of worms (albeit good ones or whatever that means) and down the line will attract enormous foreign investment in these regions. Along that theme I like telecom and for that matter any infrastructure stocks that target European markets.

Another interesting point about Europe, they may even begin experiencing massive labor flows as countries like Sweden and Italy have negative population growth and will begin experiencing population declines 10 years from now. Could present some interesting opportunities. Even their extremely underserved financial services sector is attractive. When the govmt's are forced to cut (and have already done so) on pension plans people will have to begin investing for themselves for retirement.

Thanks Again,

GS
