Dave, At some point with an offshore trust, the word "trust" becomes critical. Usually the typical offshore trust office will have 5000 or so accounts and he(the lawyer who runs the trust) will make a few hundred to a few thousand from each one. It is a very good living and ge gets rich from it, all he has to do is follow orders and not steal.
But you have to find someone to trust. If he ran away all the money would/could go away.
These down times in gold and juniors apparently made Brown dip into client funds to finance lifestyle. Called embezzling. Those who were cheated are stuck. If they call police the feds will be curious about these funds and take what is left for taxes. A tabgled web. Those who had him invest are rightly worried.
