AudioCast from Comdex:

Go to QuickClicks and choose the keynote you want. I'm listening to Eckhard Pfeiffer now and will tune in to John Sidgmore later tonight.

Have fun!

A better URL for all broadcasts:

zdnet.com

I'm listening to Sidgmore live, but the video clips are a bit stressful for my system. The chef is describing a 7-course feast and I'm out of reach, begging for crumbs. :)

Almost correct. CN sold its portion to CP who in term disposed of 40% to Rogers. If memory serves me right they paid about 280M for CN portion (ie 50%) and sold the 40% to Rogers for around 230M
Right now the Banks are iching to get out and recover their money.
Thus the push for talks with AT&T and Telus which we now resulted in the Telus/BCtel merger
My guess is that within the next 6-9 months the banks portion will be sold. AT&T has no intention of taking the AT&T LDS public and personnal I wouldn't invest if they did. I do not have confidence in the management and their strategy-of-the-day approach to telecom. (IMHO). Honestly, I view Metronet as the best short term investment (2-4 years)in telecom since it is the first to crack the local business and it picked up the good assets from Rogers ( Rogers Network Services.)
