Good question. Nobody's seen this kind of run for any stocks including the biotechs.

With the latest cut in the discount rate, the sky's the limit. It's going to take some kind of real nasty event in my opinion. Massive insider trading or some sobering news...ie. drop rate of increase in sales or losses.

Would you take a moment to conjecture what it will take to bring this
internet buying panic to an end ? If K-tel is an example, it would appear that AMZN will
have to be on the verge on being delisted before

getgo,

I want it clear. I do not have a clue. My best guess would be revenue growth coming to a halt in Q2 of 99. The hype for this sector is amazing. I did watch the CNBC special last night on the web etailing sector. They hard a person on from Forrester Research and he was talking about none of these companys having profits until 2003. However, they are a great buy at these prices because they are acquiring "real estate." If the market please in that, it could be 2003 before the mania ends. I doubt that would occur but it was a scary thought.

I know this post was of no help. KTEL is up 3 1/4 right now and is going to be delisted. They are technically bankrupt but no one cares.
