Bob,
Then I will use the prescan.lst file that I create with QP2 every Friday, it normally has less than 600 or so stocks. I think it fits the right format, but I will check for sure.

Have you heard anything about the speed factor? The program seemed so fast when using the metastock data or even the Worden TC2000 data.
Do you think that there is something in the QP2 data that will always cause the program to be slow?

Thank you very much for the information. I will go back and rescan so items right now.

Bob,
I just tried to have the program read my prescan.lst file, and it could not even find it. I went into preferences and told the program to browse. I then went to the i:\qp2data\files directory, and TF+ did not see any of the .lst files. What am I doing wrong?

To get better performance, you might prepare a TFP list, maybe trough a filter report somehow, and save the issues that interest you. Then you can load a QPdata folder restricted to this list (it can be a large list, thousands...)
by selecting that list on QP2Data folder dialog that appears after you select QP2Data from the Files/Preferences Browse.

Bob,
Would you mind telling me what Clay said? I did the files/preferences brose and somehow picked the i:\qp2data directory. But I can not get the program to go beyond that point. I am sure that TF+ is a very powerful program, but I have my questions about being user friendly.
