Brings up another question. He was talking about the growth in M3, though. So, if M3 was growing into the runup of the markets prior to the Sept and Oct troughs and has ceased growing at the same rate something else has changed -- foreign repatriation of funds -- into the stocks and/or treasuries and back to foreign destinations?

I mean, the market was going up and the money supply was expanding at the same time before. Now the money supply is expanding more slowly while the market is going up. Am I missing something more important here?

MB, show me some intelligent bull arguments that are being advanced now. I don't hear any. Are they out there? About the most intelligent thing I hear from the dark side is that Greenspan will do whatever it takes and don't fight the trend, and therefore references to Marty Zweig rules. That's a pretty lame field, imo.

Do I just have my head in the sand?
