Actually, you folks might just want to look up the credentials of David Colvin and his company. They put out "Spin-Rite" (sp?) software, which when it originally came out, was (and might still be) the _best_ software for low-level disk format checking on the market. He does seem to know what he is talking about (I don't know anything about this latest missive), and has done a good bit of work on the Zip drive and disks.

That being said, Elaine (intentionally?) did not comment on his statement that Iomega just might have tightened things up enough to make the Zip 250 work, and that things may beall right. But, you can't read every word in an article that long, can you?
