Mohan, I had an interesting meeting today. I am a trustee for a $5 billion union pension fund and sit on the investment committee. Today we interviewed three large cap growth equity managers. The first manager we interviewed was Alliance Capital Management. The managers indicated that we should expect corporate earnings growth in the flat to 4% range during the next year. Therefore, growth stocks are the only place to be. There number one holding, in their $35 billion under management, is Dell at 5%+ of their portfolio. They felt that Dell will continue to grow market share. One manager said that their technical anal-yst was Las Vegas now. They spoke on the phone and the Vice Chairman asked if the anal-yst had to bet his bonus on Dell's next 3-5 growth rate at either 30 or 40% what would it be. His response: 40%.
