TO PATRICIA AND ALL hurt by MTEI and that were at one time a part of TOP DOGs email list: Patricia:: thankyou... I think those higher up on the mountain are taking notice of the things that went on here... so we'll see.. ALL:: I went back and spent a good hour with ETRADE today adding up all my buys and sells for ETRADE... turns out that I was VERY lucky to have made some profit... I never until this day added it all up.. so I've been wrong about saying "I lost alot"... I made money.. period.. not nearly as much as I could had I sold all above $1.00 ; or above $1.50 or even at $1.75 and that's kind of what I went on.. ... KNOWING that at one point I had roughly a $30,000 profit on this stock.. but because I believed in the company, the PRs and what some of the more vocal people here on the thread were saying like "This stock will be $5.00 in a couple weeks... then $10.00 by end of year. Check out my other stocks.. They will goto $10 to $20 each... DGIV and INFE".... I'm sure many of you remember these posts that some weathly individuals were making... but still, I wonder if it the fact that I profited means I lose the right to be upset for the losses I could have had had the company been honest about its claims.. maybe I have no gripe at all. Maybe you all should be disappointed with me. I don't know. Fact is, I was first in the stock around 12cents... and saw it rise almost 2000% and I made $6,000 or so as you'll see below.. man, if it takes 2000% return to make $6,000 .. there's not a good chance I'll ever retire from investing in pennies I guess :( But again, I don't want to discount or discredit the loss that many others took in which they not only didn't profit, but lost substantially... in a way, I don't like that I profited at all... I'd just assume have lost money... since many of you counted on me to try and determine whether or not MTEI was a scam or not. I failed you all on that account. well, here is an estimate of how things look... I may be off slightly... maybe couple hundred bucks or so either way... and YES, I KNOW I don't have to post this... but why not... I'd just assume be open and honest with everyone... and I do mean EVERYONE. ICVI/MTEI 1st bought on 3/9/98 5,000 shares at 1/8. Last sale on 7/24 for 1,000 shares at 19cents. Total # of buys.. 13 Average Dollar value per trade. $2,740 per transaction Total # of sells.. 9 Average Dollar value per trade. $3,202 per transaction. (Estimated with commission #'s figured in I think) Total buy dollar value : $35,614.38 Total sell dollar value : $41,631.25 Total net profit $6,016.87 So I walked away with about $6,000 more than I started with... and I moved shares around to try and make money on INFE as well. Had I sold my MTEI shares above $1.25 per share I would have net profited close to $25,000. More had I sold higher. So I figure the PR people putting out bad PRs and of then from what many of you have said lately, the company was selling into our buying.. so I blame them for having watched my profits go down about $20,000 to $25,000 in just a few weeks!! Humbly, I did better than alot here.. but like Patricia just said, I DID come on here and post that I thought things looked suspicious and that I was moving on. Now.. where did I take that profit???? Well, someone was claiming that INFE would hit $20 by end of year. I took the bait. INFE First buy on 6/4/98 for 500 shares at $4.00 Last sell on 7/9/98 for 100 shares at $2.125 Total number of buys: 17 Average per transaction value: $1,371.17 Total numbers of sells: 6 Avg per transaction value: 2,807.70 NET LOSS $6,473.74 So there went ALL my gains on MTEI and more.. as you can see, and if anyone was also into INFE.. they'll remember that day when Macker rallied everyone to "BUY BUY BUY BUY" on his command... and I bought several shares that day.. 5 separete buy blocks for me. And continued to buy for a few days.... watched the stock drop into the $3's and $2's... that was fun. I then decided to follow things up by buying SGNC (which ISNT a scam and I still own SOME shares in) .. but this was another stock Macker claimed would goto $5 to $10 in a matter of weeks ... I put almost all of what I had left into SGNC around 80cents... bought well over $1.00 also... then watched over the next couple weeks the stock goto 80cents.. 60cents.. 40cents.... and has been under 30cents ever since.. so know you all know pretty much how happy I am to have come across these great stocks... (again, SGNC isn't a scam... just bad timing and not enough DD on it)... and I'm so very thankful to the one person who was VERY CONVINCED and VOCAL about price projections... Do I blame that person??? Not really... however, if he was selling while at the same time telling us all to "BUY BUY BUY" then I have a problem... because he obviously set us up. But ultimately I realize I was still responsible for my buys and sells and NO ONE forced to make these trades.. Hopefully when ALL is said and done, there won't be any fault found with me. I apologize for any inconsitencies... sometimes when there's SO MUCH involved.. it's easy to make an assumption here or there or forget details... but I maintain that I always made every effort to be upfront and to try to do what I felt was best for everyone.. not just myself... Take care all! jim ps.. just one last thing.. some of you that follow newsletters for penny stocks... you might notice that one thing TOP DOG tried to do was to really stay with a stock for weeks .. if not months... as noted above... we weren't in one day.. OUT the next. We didn't SELL into all of your buying!
