Gary hear is my take on the meeting:

The following is a summary of what feeling I came away with after attending the OSI Stockholders meeting on Wednesday November 18th.

OSI has now developed a suite of products that they can sell to Telecommunication Companies. The products a ready to go and some new ones are in final testing and will be ready in April of 1999. They have hired a new Marketing Manager ( he seems to be a know product that was with a competitor that was bought-out by another larger Company ). They have reduced their head count and stated that they eliminated dead wood, they have reduced their receivables from 105 days last year to 78 days now. I asked the Financial Officer if he sees any problem of meeting next quarters Wall Street numbers of $ .02 -.04 cents a share profit. He said he did not. The other question I was going to ask but someone else beat me to it was: Have you considered selling the Company? The answer was that they a constantly getting inquiries from companies that are interested in buyout or merger. The CEO said the board of directors will not refuse any reasonable offer. Of course the next question was “what is reasonable "? We never received an answer to that, which was expected. They have moved into their new facility ( see press release below ).

I guess I feel good enough about the Company that I am willing to committee more money to get my break even down. I will be buying shares in the high 4 or low 5 area. If anyone is thinking of selling their stock, now is not the time to do it. The next 6-months are going to be interesting. I feel that a buy-out is still a strong possibility especially when they generate positive earnings.

PRESS RELEASE

Objective Systems Integrators Inaugurates New Building
Progressive Sacramento Valley software company poised for growth

FOLSOM, Calif., Nov. 18, 1998 - Objective Systems Integrators (OSII: NASDAQ), a leading supplier of service and network management software to the telecommunications industry, today opened the first building in its new corporate campus at 110 Woodmere Road in Folsom. The corporate campus is designed to improve employee communications and handle potential growth of up to 800 employees. Company executives and employees will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the 14-acre site at 2 p.m., Nov. 18.
David Allen, OSI chief financial officer, said, "We're positioned for significant growth over the next few years as the market expands for our service and network management software. Our decision to purchase this parcel for our headquarters allows us to align our facility requirements with our company's growth."
The architectural firm Calpo, Hom, McAulay, and Dong (CHMD) designed the interior of the 55,000 square-foot building with an employee-centric focus. In October, Loorz Construction of Sacramento completed the two-story facility, which currently houses 184 technical support, product management, and R&D employees. The building features numerous breakout rooms for scheduled and impromptu meetings, ergonomically designed cubicles, and a fitness center.
Builders anticipate completion of a second building, the company's corporate headquarters, next year.

Dick Vento, OSI co-CEO and co-chairman of the board, said, "As we have expanded our staff over the past few years, we've had to house employees at various locations. A corporate campus where our professionals can work together more effectively should help secure our position as the leading provider of service and network management software."
