OT This is not a reply to Webb, but.....

has anybody figured out a way to use TC2000 v.4 with Technifilter??

I have been able to import MetaStock data to TF, but am about ready to dump that service (via Dial Data) as it is agonizingly slow. I am also not impresssed with MetaStock 6.5 per se for realtime charting -- TradeWind is much better, IMO.

Webb,
TF+ is supposed to use prescan.lst just like you do in QP -- grab the symbols out of the db. You only run the 'virtual' program to trick charting programs into reading 'virtual' MS data from the qp db.

<<When I edit the compute reports to select the prescan.lst, the program then seems to run, but never comes back with any results.>>
I also see some strange behavior with list-based data -- may be a problem with selecting lists. I am going to update the pgm with the one posted today on the site and see if that helps.
I also checked filtering real MS files [wrote 2700+ via processms, MSDATA; looks like TF+ can only see 255 at a time, probably have to add each of the subdirs :-(

Bill R. has been beta testing it and uses lists sucessfully -- might want to bounce some questions off of him.
Bob
