Make sure to read this that was already posted: amdzone.com It is a translation of the article that was in Japanese about the K7. The article does say that AMD didn't do open benchmarks. BTW, I am suprised at how much you are anticipating K7 info, almost as much as an AMD person (hmmmm, Intel people are called Intelabees, what are AMD people called?)

Either that sucker is darn near perfect, or AMD can't debug it yet, or they aren't as far along as "Winky" says they are ! Godzilla ! The way read the excellent Japanese translation is that if the K7 is 1.0 "daaaaa wows" then Katmai is likely .6 -.75 "daaaaa wows" on a logarithmic scale :}
