I've been reading this thread with great interest. Naturally, as a shareholder of Bid.com I'm elated on the recent success. However, I'd really like some serious analysis on whether or not this success in everyone's eyes will be short lived or are we really looking at a continual gainer. Right now, there is no doubt that the positive press is driving this baby. What I would like to know is if there is enough strength in the actual merits of the company to sustain this rally. Any insight on how we might close out the week? Does any one remember the tremendous run that Gandalf Tech had on Toronto a couple year's back? Is something like that realistic? What are the realistic highs for this thing? Comments?

>>And Phillips! I got a 17" monitor on Tuesday for a great price with great follow-up service.<<

Dave! You just gave me a great idea..with over 15 million shares traded in 4 days there must be hundreds of new shareholders who are in the black. Suppose they took 10% of their profits and bought something on the site. This would in turn enhance the subscriber base and the bottom line. The analysts will see the jump, and start to upgrade the price and we would benefit as shareholders....but I am not finished LOL....we then tell all of our friends how easy it is to shop on Bid.com...and feeling extra generous buy 20% more merchandise just before the end of the quarter ...LOLOL....beating the streets expectations by one cent like Yahoo did before they jumped up 90 more dollars ..hahaha!

Now I am joking of course...but think about the dynamics in place with all of this great publicity from the media...surely the awareness has to make some customers of the Post and Globe curious....this in turn helps Torstar as they benefit from the enhanced value of their BII shares. ;>)))))))))))

Waldo...just having fun.
