E, I disagree that I am am expert at not answering questions. There is a difference between answering questions and arguing with Sam. I've answered many questions here. But arguing with Sam serves no good purpose except maybe to amuse some here. Sam posts outright lies and we have no common ground for reasoning. Christianity is not based on reasoning anyhow, it's based on faith. I don't want to respond to hostility which is what Sam personifies. God's dealings with me in my life are not something I can convey to you. My faith is not based on reasoning, but faith inspired by the proofs in my life that God is real. When I came to accept Jesus I knew little about christianity, I was not convinced by clever arguments. Let me try to explain it this way. When Jesus was here He performed many signs and miracles to attest to who He was. He showed that He fulfilled the scriptural prophesies that God had sent to the Israelites through His prophets. God did not ask anyone to believe without some proof. To the Israelites this was real proof and so many were saved because they had faith, like Abraham. In the same way God showed Himself to me in ways I understood and I responded with the faith to be saved. What I know about the Word Of God now I learned afterwards. Bob

E. Just catching up reading others posts and noticed Bob's reply to your question of an inerrant bible was avoided because he knows it a trap. When questioned most Christians have two stock answers: You picked a verse out of context;read it all. Next is to belittle the questioner as a blasphemer, Devil worshipper and that they will pray for you. That wwas my purpose of the previous post on prayer. Didn't put a damn bit of food on the table for an earnest prayer if one could be said. Of course God knew the woman needed to be taught a lesson. Take the money out of religion and drugs and churches and drug dealers will disappear. How a man can command a hundred grand a year for 2 sermons and a prayer meeting weekly and extra pay for marriage and funersls and then stand piously on the rostrum and ask the widow woman for sacrificing her pence for Go is the ultimate of gall. I wouldn't be the least surprised that Bob makes money from religion.
