It's not the DoJ case that I am worried about -it's the Windows-JAVA compatibility issue. I fear that if NT5 has to become 100% pure JAVA compliant at a rather late point in it's development cycle that can easily add months to it's target release date. I know first hand that that will have serious implications in the NT server market - as several application developers are waiting for NT5 to port their present UNIX applications to Windows servers - including loss of business to UNIX. I am afraid that this will slow down the rate of DELL's product mix transition to the high end which I think is crucial to maintain margins.
