Intel IS hiring - in Santa Clara, Colorado and Israel. AND they are eliminating some jobs due to cost cutting measures and productivity improvements. They are scaling back production operators at the newly acquired DEC Fab in Hudson, Mass simply because Intel runs their own fabs more efficiently. Intel has a new FAB coming on stream in Israel - 0.18 micron - early next year. In addition, Intel will be converting some existing fab lines to 0.18 micron = which will help reduce die sizes and increase capacity. Paul
