Voodoo Extreme posted a bunch of interviews with developers on the new Voodoo3:

Basically, they were not impressed at all. They hated the 16 bit output and the 16 bit Z-buffer. Their opinions were pretty much the same across the board. There also were negative views on their drivers. I seemed weird, but TNT's drivers were praised(?) dispite all the problems that occurred with the release.

I think that the V3 will do well, especially since it is the Banshee2 and far outperforms what I thought the Banshee2 would do. However, 3dfx is falling behind in some key features. Thy'd better deliver big time with Rampage.
