If you were talking about IndyMac specifically, and not DRIPs in general, I apologize for interrupting the discussion.

Regarding IndyMac, any company whose bottom line is affected by a DRIP and whether or not a member of the DRIP reinvests dividends, I would consider a prime short candidate. Depending, of course, on the current valuation.
