Joe,

It does look like we finally broke out of the old trading range.

Lots of volume and that's what I like to see!

It will take some effort to get through resistance at 40 but IMHO it's possible. A lot of folks bought on the way down a year ago and a lot of those folks will sell on the way up.

It does look like LU or INTC will do something here.....Things just look too attractive for them to sit still.

With COMS earnings coming out late next month I would expect a "positive surprise"!

Eric

Joe,

Good sumation.. but I will shorten it even further:

All we can do now is wait and see what the future holds.

As for making it back to $35 (which is 3+ pts below), we have 2 days:

Tomorrow can quite possibly be $-2 and friday then only needs about a point of so. Neither of these are huge moves (going from $38 to $35 is smaller percentage wise than going from $35 to $38).. If the big boys did some accumulating today it was likely just to bleed it back into the market over the next 2 days and control the price in that manner..

Steve

PS have you taken a look at the coms chart for the last 3 expirations?

Joe, re: << think if we see a major breakthrough we have to get back in again, but verrry carefully. As you said, once it hits 39.5-40.0, the whole world may be buying COMS.>>

Chart looks great...broke out at 37 11/16...finally! nice cup and handle...sit back and enjoy the ride...clear sailing to 45 and could reach that by 12/18...networkers moving...CSCO got a 'buy' with an $85 target...COMS will no doubt follow on coat tail...CS may also emerge.

I don't see this as a buyout rumor thing...this stock/others been hit hard since Asian flop...perhaps now potential for increased sales is being projected...regardless, the chart/stock activity is obviously saying something...40 is my guess tomorrow, but if down then it's a chance to buy....(imho). Could be a nice squeeze play by Friday!

Good luck all.
