Apratim - at this rate CPQ will soon become another Computer Associates I think that's the real danger in all of this. To walk away from the buffet that they have set for themselves with a sensible meal will take focus vision and restraint. I think the transition will play out over several years, but trends are emerging now on what the intended direction is. BTW I think it would be entirely possible for them to screw it up - doing everything right but too slowly would be one way, keeping attractive but incompatible pieces would be another.
