Not necessarily. I just used those as examples of programs I have. I have not had time to look at the 17 files it found non-compliant to see what they pertain to. In fact, they could pertain to any program as far as I know. A techie might be required to tell. That is the scary part and also the wonderful part. Here are these 17 files, that I do not have a clue as to what they do and surely would not have had the slightest hint to suspect them had I been checking manually. Besides that I would not have a clue as to knowing how to manually check them in the first place. The program took about 30 seconds to find them all and provided a list to work through.

I think I said this before. I wish the lite version would let me print the list. It is hard to work through the list without it printed.

Another feature seems to be exclusions. Maybe one could exclude everything except Win 98 and thus just check it. Will have to experiment more with it. It sure would be nice to not be limited by this lite version. Then we could really experiment.

Kerry There are 7 .dll files out of the 17 non-compliant files that are quicken files. They are from 1997 so maybe they are old files from previous versions of quicken. I do not know. Since one can not print them out nor copy and paste them, it is difficult to type the info out one by one. The manufacturer is listed as well.

The first is C:\QUICKENW\MVCL14N.DLL

Also, there are two windows system files (.dll's) dated in 1998 on the non-compliant list. Crystal is listed as the manufacturer
