Please, if you are going to think about price possibilities by including a takeover premium, don't use Breifing.com's $20-22...way low IMHO...they have good info sometimes, but boy when they are wrong they are WRONG! I see $25 as a very likely low number. Keep in mind that many of the other networkers are fully pretty damned expensive, at least to me...FORE is relatively cheap even after today.

The increase in bandwidth in the backbone and local access areas will create an opportunity to deliver valuable services across the internet. If you care alot about the delivery of the multiple types of services, priority, etc, then the only way this can be accomplished is with ATM. In addition, ATM is very scalable so as your needs increase, you can jack up the throughput. Imagine the internet being used by corporations for the transfer of large amounts of secure data that the company is delivering to its customers. If it is important that the data arrive in a certain way, then ATM is your answer. today the internet is a best efforts type delivery vehicle. In the future and if corps are going to use it for important transfer of information, it will need to be capable of more refined delivery. I believe ATM will be important for this to happen.
