The concept of a 2D to 3D software process is well developed by Digital Depth Dynamics (DDE.AL), formerly Xenotech. DDE's web site is: xenotech.com.au and there is an SI thread at: Subject 12410. Check it out. There may be others in this game as well. Imax's vision of the future is, IMHO, very realistic. The only question is who will provide the services to it.
