Mark since you have two girls and as a loving parent want to teach them moral and righteous living, I have a great plan as old and much older than the bible. I can only say from experience it created a much better environment than 1800 years of bible haven;t helped one iota and instead created a world of fear, hate, control of others, wars and slaughter. The method is so simple it will amaze you and the kids pick up the morals they need and grow up with a healthy Mind. Fairy tales. These two words also apply to the bible but it is not what I have in mind. Download Aesop's fables and use it for their bible. Get on the web and download fables from all nations. I did this a few years back, printed them on my HP, punched holes in paper and bought binders at an office supply and made books for all my great children for their yule tide gifts. Believe they treasure them like their teddy bears. Bet it will surprise you that even you can enjoy the reading them when they ask you.
