Thanks for your thoughts and TA book recommendations. Yes, I was struck by the disparity between Ed's excellent TA post and the market action yesterday. I agree that TA may be useful in predicting the price movement of stocks and mutual funds as long as there are no surprises. My question to Ed was: Now that rumor has shot the price up 25%, how does TA deal with it?
