Property speculators are BACK!!!! Sino Land's Island HarborView condominium project has attracted droves of property speculators not seen in the past 8 months or so. One "major" speculator has told reporters that he will be buying up 61 units for "short term investment purposes". He has went on saying that he used to buy properties at HK$10,000 per sq. foot without the blink of an eye. With prices around HK$5,000 these days, he would be kicking himself if he doesn't make the move. Due to oversubscription, most market watchers are certain that they will simply sell off their "tickets" on the waiting list for immediate cash profit....without buying anything. Bubble economy, you gotta love it.
