Skeeter,

You're right, there is HDSL, ADSL, RADSL, and VDSL. I don't know exactly their specifications but the VDSL technology seems to be a low cost high end solution for higher capacity data channeling. One interesting thing about this technology, is that it allows simultaneous transfer of voice and data transfer...therefore you can surf the net and make phone calls on the same line. Orckit has products for each level of DSL technology and they're well partnered with Fujitsu and have recently signed up Lucent and are working on major DSL deployments with Deutcshe Telecom and GTE I believe. I wonder if this techonology will stick. It seems like a great idea and it doesn't get much publicity.

Regards,

GS
