Joe, Robie Stevens had an eye-catchig upgrade yesterday. Have you heard anything about it?? I wonder why we didn't catch this, or what it just me? joe

All: Well I got my cable modem today, and guess what.. it doesn't work!!!!.. yup my line is fine, it the cable modem, it's defecetive.. it will be monday until I get a new one.. and guess what it's a Samsung, with Cisco crap inside.. this kinda explains everything. In fact I called up my cable company and said "listen I don't expect to pay for at least the first month of service, you are having problems with these modems and you don't even test it first. Next time buy a GD 3COM cable modem and it'll work outta the box", the response from the other end was speachlessness.. apparently there is something wront with teh CSCO crap in these modems that causes about 50% to arrive DOA.. Steve PS This is absolutely freaking wonderful!
