NiMH in the EV1s at long last?

The EV1 ride and drive vehicles have begun arriving at the Saturn dealers this week. We EV1 drivers have received invitations to attend what is being called a 'sneak preview' of the 99'EV1s and their new NiMH batteries at a Downtown Hotel in L.A. on Dec 5th. A presentation of products, ride and drive the new EV1s and refreshments.
The drivers will be asked to "pre register" (what the hell is that?)for our 99' nickel metal hydride batteries. Pretty exciting for the EV1 drivers and the ECD shareholders. Maybe we'll get some dates and prices at the event. We're almost there and there are NiMH batteries in at least fifteen cars here in L.A. I'll keep you posted.

Ed Haiken-- Sorry to be mysterious about the magazine name. It is a major *BUSINESS* mag and I don't think we are at liberty to blab their name around. They haven't yet accepted our material and lord knows whether they will actually run it. We've stressed the importance on NiMh from three different drivers of three different vehicles and we've told them where it was born, i.e. we are steering interested readers to look at the investment opportunity. I thought this was the way PR was supposed to work. One cultivates the press and lets them in on a big secret like, Gee we have our solar panels on test in outer space, or Gee we have a patent in Japan on not one, but two major technologies.

I have no idea when ECD decides to disseminate information and why. That's what makes the ride so interesting and (frustrating). I heard your comments on the analyst call and thought they were on the mark. Interesting to hear that the valuation of the Sanyo stake was at the same level, WHY COULDN'T THEY SAY THAT IN THE PRESS RELEASE?
