They tell me that he's been making good money being short selected technology stocks. I do share his sentiments overall with respect to the market. Market is currently discounting a return to growth in profits (profit growth has slowed considerably in this quarter) which propelled the last leg in this bull market. This return to growth in profits is unlikely to happen in my opinion. As to how right Fleck has been over the last few years -- I don't know. I suppose he turned bearish far too early. If the market has a nosedive in the next six month will you heap the same amount of scorn on the folks who told you that the market could go nowhere but up?
