The application servers for this type of request for this web server are temporarily unavailable. If this occurs off-business hours (in Eastern Standard Time in the US, of course), then we are probably performing routine maintenance on those application servers, and it should be up in a few minutes. If this happens during the trading hours, please try an alternate web server from our Services Website Directory.

Yeah righ. Now, at 10:30-something during the trading hours.

How come Datek has never heard about APPLICATION SERVERS, CORBA, REPLICATION and all those other techniques that savvy netcentric organizations use to avoid bottlenecks? How come they are still based on a load of crappy PC's with a joke of a toy operating system to support it?

They change to a decent architecture the system could easily do ITS OWN LOAD BALANCING avoiding this complete stops.
