Merrill Lynch-Analyst Day Review-No incremental info on biz flow in the qtr;mgmt maintains previous 4Q98 outlook.ML EPS estimates of 11cts are below consensus of 12cts and inline for FY 99 at 40cts...We expect the stock to continue to trade ina narrow band as investors wait for evidence of turnaround prospects..too early to tell...remain on the sidelines until we see sustainable license revenue growth trends.IFMX needs to continue to execute in the highly competitive OLTP market against IBM,Oracle and MSFT in order to sustain itself while it pursues these new opportunities(Data warehousing,OLTP,E-commerce).
