IMO the WSJ article is positive in other ways not yet mentioned.

It will be read by EVERY banker, and I suspect a number of high-level execs will be asking questions of their subordinates. "Why aren't we moving faster?" I especially liked the thought that Yahoo or Schwab could nab a ton of business if the flat-footed banks don't goose it.

And it will be read by MANY potential users of e-bill services. The Journal has the best demographics of any newspaper: upscale, high-income, well-educated. These are all potential early adopters who will now be just that much more inclined to try out the service once it gets on line.

It's part of a drumbeat -- and I like what I hear.
