I don't think the set top box would use a BIOS; it's not running a standard OS, does not need to control a floppy or hard disk, and the diagnostics are custom. However, it would likely need some sort of IrDA (infrared controller)and a high speed connection (USB or 1394). All of which are provided by the Virtual groups of Phoenix (and also Mentor Graphics)
