I think we've discussed Robotic Vision Systems, Inc. before, but do you see any advantages to there products vs. ESI? I think the machine vision market is huge, but they seem to be going head to head with ESI.

Regards, Mark

RVSI Acuity CiMatrix, a division of Robotic Vision Systems, Inc. (RVSI), unveiled a new family of machine vision solutions for the semiconductor back-end manufacturing industry built upon its recently introduced, PCI Bus/Windows NT-based Visionscape platform. This new family of products features improved process control through capabilities required for ball grid array (BGA) inspection; mark inspection; package visual inspection (PVI); mold inspection; die alignment and inspection; as well as automatic identification. All these capabilities are implemented as software modules running on the Acuity 2000 vision engine. This vision processor delivers the functionality of a complete vision system in a single PCI (Peripheral Component Interconnect) bus slot of the host PC.
