Sam, What makes the views you espouse the truth? Absolutely nothing. You want all to agree with you just because you say so. Let's see who can get the biggest mountain of books together that proves them right! That's your argument in a nutshell. You say you have better books backing you up. You claim in one of your posts that Paul started the catholic church. Paul was dead at the hands of the roman's long before the catholic church formed. Your "facts" have been made up and spread around to stop the gospel, to stop people from being born again. That is the devil's work. After he caused Jesus to be killed he realized his mistake because then suddenly Jesus was everywhere! Not just one man but appearing everywhere in thousands and millions of men and woman. The devil had lost, his only hope was to distort the gospel. he has been trying ever since. Well Sam, I have met Jesus and He is in my heart. I KNOW HIM!! He is spirit, as am I, as well as flesh. Just from memory I recall 1 Cor. 15 to wit: "3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: 6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. 7 After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. 8 And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. 9 For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. 11 Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed."(Paul the one apostle of the Mystery of the grace of God.) Sam, not all that one knows has to be written down. Also, a person can be viewed from different angles. For example, my children look at me as father, they describe me in those terms, They do not write to me as "Dear Tax Payer" they write to me as "Dear Dad" because that is the concept they want to emphasize. Paul was interested in many things concerning Christ, one of them was, ' Jesus is Lord', this he had first hand experience with when The Lord knocked him from his donkey(horse, whatever). This was reinforced by God giving him the Holy Spirit. These are the things that were burned into his mind, and should be the same things burned into your mind, that is, that Jesus knocked you from your wayward path against Him(hopefully) and gave you The Holy Spirit of life(hopefully). I don't know you Sam so it may be that you have not been born again, just a person familiar with The Scriptures. There are many who are deceived in this manner. I can't look at a person and tell whether they are a true Christian(born again) or not, neither can I read a person's writing and tell if they are born again. Human limitations, that is the weakness of the flesh, because I was first born into a state of sin, but have since been born by The Holy Spirit and I know God is my Father because His seed The Holy Spirit remains in me("No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God."
