Actually, the FCC, about 6-8 weeks ago, finally decreed that they would allow all the way up to 56K. I've been waiting to hear something from the ISP's as to them updating their hardware/software to take advantage of the new rules.

Anyone have any info?

A dream machine for gamers?

Silicon Graphics demonstrated an Intel Pentium II Windows NT 3D workkstation with a 17.3 inch flat panel display for under $4,000 at Comdex last week.

" "Amazing," said Gates, after watching the product do a live, 30-frames-per-second video feed of the keynote inside a rotating 3D CAD image. The Comdex keynote crowd of several thousand people
applauded wildly during the demonstration."
