FWIW, just looking at some of the industry/competition's Q3 numbers so as to provide some sensical comparisons.

ALTS revenues were down 11% quarter over quarter.
DOCSF (PCDOCS) revenues were down 12% quarter over quarter.
FILE (FILENET) revenues were down 11% quarter over quarter.
DCTM (DOCUMENTUM) revenues were up 19% quarter over quarter.

Considering ALTS very unique (certainly by comparison) set of circumstances/challenges; most specifically having no new product(s) in the market. It is sort of an acknowledgement that ALTS was/is clearly not operating in a vacuum. General market/industry conditions likely had a more meaningful impact on the reduction in revs then we might have originally presumed.
