IceMan, I watched most of the day and far into the night, it wasn't about Slick Willy at all. Ken Starr made his statement, and then the floor was opened for the members of the committee to question him. That went on until about 8:30 p.m. ET. The dems kept attacking Ken Starr, over and over making the same accusations, that he deprived Monica, her mother, and others, of their civil rights, that he obtained information without due process, that he was engaged in a witchhunt and a vendetta. If you watch Hardball or Geraldo, you've already heard the rap. (The "c" is omitted.) Starr held up surprisingly well, never deviated an iota from calm, courteous, reasoned discourse. Bravo! Starr was then questioned by Kendall, Clinton's personal lawyer, who asked the same questions. Big surprise. But I was surprised at how very, very good Kendall was. The back and forth between Starr and Kendall was riveting. I had not really felt, in my gut, how deadly serious this was until I watched these two men sparring. Masterful. I wish I had taped that part. Starr was questioned last by Republican House Counsel, can't remember name, who fed him enormous softballs, which of course Starr made great use of to say all the things he wanted to say before but couldn't. The committee then went into executive session, the vote splitting along party lines. Never, never a shred of exculpatory evidence on behalf of Clinton. I guess we will be seeing his exculpatory evidence soon?<g> CobaltBlue
