On a related note from the paper today, Chevron is apparently involved in the shooting deaths of two political protesters in Nigeria. They were protesting the role of big oil in supporting dictatorship in Nigeria, as with many others killed lately.

Y'know, we're debating whether there was complicity in particular individual assaults, threats, or murders 90 years ago, when we know for a fact that millions have been killed since in the oil wars. Or oil-related wars, if you prefer. Who lobbied congress for that?

Think we'd go to war to make people pay for Windows? OK, then what would we do/have we done to make them pay?
