JK...I did not think you were plugging these stocks.

Although there might be many good internet companies and many
people have made more returns than I have with CPQ. I still
believe that for my objectives CPQ is the proper investment.

With racing internet stocks one has to know when to exit some
of them before they drive off the cliff. I don't have the
research tools to compete with professionals and thus find
the odds to disfavor me.

I started to buy AOL at 28 when they were having problems handling all the new customers. They had a big law suit because of slow service and still signing on new members. My broker advised it was not a good long term stock. He gives the same advice today for a different reason.
