Byron,..Re:.I see DELL go below 45 in Feb/March 99. This is not the time to buy this stock.
How do you reconcile the above statement with I am getting in 50-55 in the next couple months. With the tax selling coming soon, DELL could go even lower. I will pick more up at 52.5.?

Hey, do you understand the concept of averaging down? I've owned this stock for almost 4 years now. And I do buy on dips all the time, maybe I don't catch the bottom all the time, but 52.5 seems to me a good entry point to add to my DELL position. Of course, when it drops below 45, I will add more to my position.

Also, regarding With the tax selling coming soon, DELL could go even lower. , it was my understanding that tax selling is to get rid of losers, (offset gains) but Dell has a significant gain YTD. Besides, tax selling usually concludes in October.

Regards,

Lee

All I got to say is there are suckers who bought DELL at 70's and I don't imagine only daytraders buy at that price. Does tax selling usually conclude in Oct? you tell me, seems like there wasn't much tax selling this Oct, or did I have some disillusion?
