I don't know. MM can do weird things, but my system generated a buy signal today. This doesn't mean we will go racing to the top. It just means I think we have seen the base form and I will start accumulating this puppy again. Good luck to all! My opinion...

This is the way I would explain. Correct me somebody if I am wrong.

The bid/ask price shown on your screen is a correlation of several mm prices. If someone trades below or above, then the mm's do not have to adjust their prices to fit that in. Also it could have been at another mm's bid and ask price. A lot of times private trading that doesn't go through an MM, but is reported will cause the difference. Either way it is not an errounous quote, more than likely and nothing illegal happened. I did notice that a lot of that happened at the open today. Lots of trading below that shown bid and ask.
