Hi Crossy,

It's been a long time since I visited this thread last time. I have been doing quite a lot short, short term trading this year. It saves me from the big selloff and makes me some good profits.
Nice to see that you are doing well and getting more time on trading now.
I have some low-priced stocks which I believe will do well through this holiday season. Look for your comments as usual: ifmx(5~6), wstl, afci(under 9), dimd(4~5), pair(under 10), eggs(close to 10 or under).
I also accumulate some foundry and dram maker stocks in Taiwan at the bottom lows, ie tsmc(tsm), umc, acer computer... They have taken off impressively recently. I read some news that the 64 Meg DRam makers over there have difficult time to meet demands. Recent upticks in chip demands caught companies in surprise. I am looking to accumulate some semi stocks down the road here even though some of them have advanced quite a lot from their bottoms. Some picks in mind: pria, brks, klac, nvls, plab, cymi.... What's your outlook for semis?
PS I also have some amd since 20. Don't like the management but will give it another try.

Thanks

Iris

Crossy,

Actually they are not my holdings yet, except ifmx. Just some cheap stocks I am interested in. Yes, eggs. I have owned the stocks twice this year. Very good profits. Safe to buy at lower price and forget it for a while. Rick has made 2-bagger out of it recently.

What does it mean when front-end equipment makers are seeing activities picking up? Pria reported bad earning results. Stock up nicely today. I bought some the other day when I saw it blow through 20 with heavy volume.
Bought some brks today. Think it gets rich cash.
Right now I have intc, amd, klac, etec, atml, pria, altr. Will hold them till they turn weak.
As Taiwan foundries, it's the trading volume and price pattern lead me to believe that they have hit an intermdiate-term bottom. Actually I almost have 30% profits on most of them now. Election there will keep the market up for a while. I hope!
