To anyone: I have an options-ignorant question- this options expiration- will it have much effect on the large cap stocks tomorrow (AOL,CPQ)?

vepoc...fish and chips.... I believe, from my discussion with Jimbo Cobb, Intel is a "chip on the shoulder", when dealing with CPQ. So by process of elimination, AMD...anyway Intel seems to be eating AMD up. There's your answer. While the CPQ stock is as exciting as watching the grass grow, your details on word origins are appreciated. chauvinism or chauvinist have interesting origins. (you probably know) Loki
