They just don't get it, do they, eh?! :-)

Here is some food for thought... President Clinton's approval rating among the general public has been holding steady at a little more than 65%, but in the exit polls during the November elections this year, it was much lower, i.e. 55%. What this means is that if more voters are motivated enough to vote, as they will be in a presidential election year, the Republicans are gonna get creamed! They are almost sure to lose the House and the Presidency, and considering that 9 of the Senate Republicans facing re-election in the year 2000, got by with 56% or less in the 1994 elections, they are in danger of losing the Senate too.

Of course in retrospect, all this may seem obvious, but right now, the Republicans are blissfully oblivious of the pulse of the nation. Watch out for all the blame that goes around when they will be left holding the begging bowl by the end of year 2000!

Dipy.

They're already reporting on TV that Clinton's popularity rating is the highest ever! If they report his popularity rating is 110%, will anyone question it? Do dead people vote in popularity polls too?
