I'm not up on all the new internet connection technology that is coming out, but I talked with a guy today who does all the networking for the Money Store. He gave me an article on ADSL & one of the major drawbacks of the technology is that you have to be within 3 miles of the telephone company that provides the service.

Is there someone here who can elucidate on this type of connection. According to this guy, he prefers satellite connection over anything else coming out. He was negative about cable connections because he said that as people start connecting via cable, the bandwidth slows down in a particular area. Not sure I understand why, so would like to hear from experts out there. TIA
